Dr. Ramos was raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and completed her bachelor’s in biology at Augustana College. She received her doctorate at the Illinois College of Optometry. For several years at ICO, she was head fundraising chair for SVOSH (Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity). She is currently working with non-profit organizations to bring similar volunteer optometric services to her family’s native country of the Philippines.
She moved to Denver to complete her residency in Refractive/Ocular Surgery & Ocular Disease at ICON Surgical Eye Care. Dr. Ramos has also completed rotations at the Daytona Beach VA Medical Center, East Valley Eye Center in Los Angeles, and Insight Vision Group in Denver. She is passionate about quality eye care and values effective patient-doctor communication. She specializes in ocular surgery management and ocular disease including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and binocular vision.
In her spare time, she loves to travel, hike, cook, and spend time with family, friends, and her cockapoo puppy.
